Andrew's fishing camp

For as long as an of can remember, Andrew has wanted to go fishing.  If you know me & Rick at all, you know we aren't really fishing people so of course we were excited to find a fishing camp for him.  He has literally been counting down for WEEKS!!!  I was just praying the camp met his expectations- and it has.  He has loved every minute of it.  His instructor calls Andrew, "adorable, interested, and, even though he's the youngest, the smartest in the group."  As his Nana says, we aren't surprised.  He caught his first fish yesterday and his instructor told me that in all his years of doing the camp, he had never seen anyone as excited as Andrew was!  Today Andrew caught the "mystery fish" so he will get a prize on Friday.  I have been so proud of all three of my children this summer for trying new things and going to camps where they know no one.  I love these little people!

Dance Video

This was the only good video I got and it's just her skipping across with her partner but it's still cute.  :)

Dance Department Dance Camp

All three have different camps this summer and this week has been Aubrey's turn.  She went to a camp at Dance Dept where she takes dance.  Today we were able to watch a 10 minute show they put together.  She LOVED it!!!  She has now decided she no longer wants to take ballet, but tap & jazz.  I somehow knew she would feel this way and if you spend any time with her at all, you would agree with me.  The girl loves to make up dances to songs on the radio.  The boys even went with me to watch and both were mesmerized.  So glad she has found something that makes her happy!  By the way, I apologize for some of the pictures being blurry, it was a fast dance and difficult to catch her at times.

Her class.

The big girls were leading so that's why she's in the back.

Her teacher said, "Aubrey's got some moves!"

Loving it!

Doing some of her
"moves."

She loved Ms. Katie!

Palm Coast, FL vacation

As our children get older our vacations get better & this year was no exception.  This might have been one of our best vacations ever!  We love Palm Coast and we've stayed in this resort before.  There's even a putt putt course!  While we were on vacation, we celebrated Aubrey's 5th birthday.  She wanted to eat cake on the beach at sunset but we didn't quite make it so we had cake outside our hotel at sunset.  We headed to the beach 4 different days and now everyone has a boogie board (yes, there is a picture of me on one to prove it).  We went to our favorite pizza place in St. Augustine once and our favorite playground in St. Augustine twice.  We also visited a fun museum that had a giant sloth skeleton and an awesome children's section.  It was an awesome vacation!  Now we're home and summer is more than halfway over.

Our first day there.  The waves were awesome!

We love the beach!!

Time to boogie board!
