They are all on now so please enjoy our spring break trip to TN, my trip with my mom to Savannah, and Muffins for Moms. Thanks for keeping up with us!

Muffins for Moms 2011

Andrew's class ready to sing, "You Are My Sunshine."

My sweet Andrew.

My sweet Aubrey Claire.

Aubrey with her best friend, Madeline.

They are obsessed with Madeline's baby sister, Amelia.

The Three Amigas- Madeline, Aubrey, & Charleston.

It's that crazy busy time of year where there is so much going on at every one's school. This week I was fortunate enough to attend two Muffins for Moms, one for Andrew's class and one for Aubrey's. Andrew's was Thursday and when they sang, "You Are My Sunshine," there was not a dry eye in the room! Andrew had made a bracelet and a corsage for me and we had muffins, fruit, pink punch, cheese straws, and M&Ms. Aubrey's was the next day. She also made me a corsage and her class made the moms stationery, using their thumbprints to make ladybugs to decorate the paper and the envelopes. So sweet! When I picked up Davis from school today, his class had potted pink flowers for all the moms! I love being a mom, there's not a better or more rewarding job! Happy Mother's Day!

Savannah!!

Paula Deen's restaurant- sooo yummy!

Enjoying our lunch at Paula Deen's!

Johnny Mercer.

Mom & Marilyn.

Forrest Gump's bench (this is for Rick, he loves that movie!).

Johnny Mercer's Oscar.

Mercer House (can you tell I like "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" just a little?).

I fell in love with all the old trees!

One of the beautiful streets.

An awesome bridge. A woman oversaw the building, finished under budget and ahead of schedule. Awesome!

Another beautiful street!

More of my favorite trees with the Spanish Moss.

Such a beautiful city!

One last shot of the tree lined streets.

I love red doors! These were just beautiful on this church.

My amazing mother gave me the absolute best birthday present- a weekend trip to Savannah, just the two of us. It was such fun! We did what I had always wanted to do, eat at Paula Deen's! It was so yummy! We saw lots of beautiful houses and I was enamored with all the trees with Spanish Moss. We ate so much great food and walked until we were both exhausted. Thank you so much, Mom, I can't wait to do it again! Also a special thanks to Rick and Pa, who took care of the children while we were gone.

Easter

The Easter Bunny was here!

Andrew was NOT happy that day!

All the kids lining up for a photo op (there are tons of cameras behind me).

There she goes...

...and making sure she has the good stuff!

Davis was happy...

....but Andrew wasn't.

Aubrey with Ms. Nikki.

We made it home just in time for the Easter Bunny to come to our house then I made Easter-shaped beignets for breakfast and we were off to church and their egg hunt. Davis was thrilled that the age limit was moved up to 5th grade instead of 2nd grade so he can still participate. In the meantime, Andrew got promoted from the playground egg hunt to the big hill egg hunt. He was less than thrilled and went so slowly that all the eggs were gone by the time he got up there, but, thanks to big brother and a few other children, he didn't go home empty handed. Whew! Aubrey had the while thing figured out, she would open the egg first and if she liked what was in it she would put it in her basket, and if she didn't, she would put it back! Haha! That's my girl!

Nana & Duchess with all the grandchildren.

So sweet! I pity the boys who try to date her later on, big brother will meet them at the door!

Andrew inside the snake at the Nashville Zoo.

Mommy & Andrew in the snake's belly!

Andrew loved this crocodile and waited very patiently for everyone to get off of it so he could have a turn.

Waiting to ride the carousel. I'm not sure how I managed to get all three to ride in the same spot!

Aubrey & Davis watching the elephants.

Aubrey & Andrew in front of an elephant skeleton (Andrew is fascinated with any type of skeleton these days).

Andrew, Rick, & Davis watching the elephants.

Andrew at the Cheekwood train exhibit. Can you tell he's just a little excited?

Love this picture of Grandpa & Grandma with the three children!

Grandpa & Davis "making" cookies. "One drop of dough for the pan, two drops for me..."

Things Grandmas can do that Mommies can't, get Aubrey to pedal! She refuses to that for me!

Helping Grandma with mulch. Andrew was awesome with the little shovel!

Another thing Grandmas are great at, haircuts!

Davis got one, too.

Spring Break actually came during spring this year, but it didn't make it any less cold in TN. All the same, we had a great visit full of lots of family time, friend time, a trip to the zoo, and a very fun trip to Cheekwood to see the trains. We miss Nashville so much and it's always wonderful to go home.
