Go kart rides!

Rick trying to fit.

Almost there...

...he made it.

and they're off!

There they go!

Aubrey's turn!

She loved it!

Our neighbor got a new go kart for Christmas and the little ones were just dying to try it. The only way Mommy was going to let them was if Daddy drove them. It was a tight squeeze but well worth it, all three (Daddy included) loved it!

SNOW

The snowman Rick and Andrew made.

Andrew was so proud!

Snowball fight!

I think Andrew won.

My little snow angel!

Ok, so we had a white day after Christmas but it was beautiful! Snow fell all day long and Andrew finally got to play in it late this afternoon. He was so excited, he could barely stand still to put his coat on! In case you were wondering, Aubrey was sick with the croup and Davis was at a movie with Pa and that's why you only see Andrew in the pictures.

This was our biggest Christmas Day yet with 14 in our house for brunch! We had both sets of grandparents, the Elston family, and Nikki's boyfriend, David. It was quite a full house and there was so much food! Davis wanted to sit at the big people table so I got booted down to the kids table with Andrew & Aubrey but they made for good entertainment! What a great Christmas!

This Christmas is very exciting to my children because both sets of grandparents are here! Grandma & Grandpa (Kulp) arrived at our house Thursday morning and Nana & Pa (Kaplan) arrived lunchtime today. We enjoyed a Christmas Eve lunch at Bellacinos after Nana & Pa got into town. Then, for dinner the children helped make Christmas-shaped beignets which we all enjoyed. Everyone watched Charlie Brown for a few moments and then it was on to opening presents. Since there were so many presents this year, they were each allowed to open three tonight. After presents were opened and played with, we set out milk and cookies for Santa and carrots and oats for the reindeer. Grandma and Nana read stories and tucked the children into bed. Merry Christmas everyone! May the magic of the season bring you and your family joy.
