Carnival

The end of preschool came all too quickly this year and it made me a little sad.  Next year I will be sending Andrew off to Kindergarten and it will be Aubrey's last year of preschool.  Time goes so quickly these days!  We did have a great time at their end of the year carnival.  It was a rainy day but the school held it indoors and both Andrew and Aubrey were able to run around with their very best friends, Owen and Madeline, and hug on their wonderful teachers one last time.  We love our preschool!

Aubrey "playing" bean bag toss.  She might have cheated just a little. :)

She didn't cheat on this one.  However, she won every single time and Andrew didn't win once.  It's sort of a sore spot with him.

We will miss you, Ms. Williamson!

Preschool Music Show

Andrew and Aubrey had their spring music show last week and it was precious!  It was hard not to tear up knowing it was Andrew's last one since he'll be moving on to Kindergarten in the fall.  They both actually sang AND did the movements!  Very sweet!

Waiting to begin.

Happy Mother's Day

I have said it many times but I don't think I can say it enough, I am blessed beyond measure.  I have three miracles and I am more and more thankful for them every day.  I have the best job in the world.  Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and especially to mine!

Aubrey's soccer trophy!

Our children are all happy, each one has a soccer trophy.  Aubrey received hers today.  She went out with a bang, playing with all smiles and running her hardest.  She's finished now and "just wants to do ballet."  Hooray for the way she kept going throughout the season even though she stopped loving it about halfway through.  It looks like we've been to our final soccer game since all three have now played and no one wants to go back! :)

Mother's Day Teas

The past two days have been so fun and so full of food!  I feel like I have done nothing but eat and eat!  Having two preschoolers with Mother's Day Teas isn't helping!  Yesterday was my birthday and Aubrey was thrilled she was having her Tea on my birthday.  Her class sang, "You Are My Sunshine" to us and then gave us precious bookmarks and pictures they had made with their hand prints (yes, I will keep them, my parents still have a napkin holder made from my hand prints when I was little).  We had mini red velvet cupcakes that were delicious!  Today, it was Andrew's turn.  While they didn't sing to us, they did have those mini red velvet cupcakes and we took pictures to put in beautiful picture frames they had made.  I am admittedly sad this is Andrew's last preschool Mother's Day Tea, and, as I looked around, it was hard for me to picture Aubrey moving up to the big class.

We just finished our yummy cupcakes!

My sweet Andrew almost never looks at the camera.  He's still cute, though!

Swim lessons for Andrew

It's no wonder Andrew is such a sea creature lover, he's a fish himself.  He loves to the water so it is finally time to get him some real swim lessons.  We started tonight and I didn't think we were going to make it through the afternoon!  "Is it time yet?  Is it time yet?"  I told him we would go after dinner so at 4:15 he asked for dinner!  He did an amazing job and I feel sure he will be swimming by himself in no time at all!

Andrew's preschool field trip to the farm.

Last Friday, Andrew's preschool class took a field trip to a local farm. It ended up not being so great.  The man in charge had to go out of town and neglected to tell anyone we were coming so we didn't get to see as many of the animals as we would have liked.  The kids didn't know any different, though, and had a great time anyway.  Oh to be 5 again!
