Happy Easter!

I realized today that I did not get one single picture of our family for Easter.  Not one.  The boys are big and don't care to look cute, not even for me.  Davis was too busy off with his friends and Andrew was too cool to hunt eggs, I was holding a sweet, new baby, so that just left Aubrey/  Thankfully, my great friend, Tyra, took a few shots for me.  Despite my children getting too big for my liking, we had a wonderful Easter and Spring Break. One more day off tomorrow and then it's back to school and work for everyone on Tuesday. Happy Easter!

At least one of my children still likes to dress up!

So sweet!

Being a good momma and keeping Baby Andrew Gore shielded from the Sun.  Yes, that is a real baby.

He did look cute for me, even though he wouldn't let me get him anything new.

Gatlinburg!

We try to do something different each year for Spring Break.  Last year in Chicago would be hard to top, but this year Andrew has been all about the Titanic, so with a recommendation from Betty, we headed to Gatlinburg to see the Titanic Museum, which was awesome. They give each person a name of someone who was on the ship that night and at the end, you find out if your person survived or not.  All 3 kids made it but Rick and I both perished.  Poor Aubrey, her's died of Meningitis only 4 months after she survived the sinking.  Still, it was a very fascinating museum. Rick found us a very awesome cabin, complete with a jacuzzi and pool table (both were hits). We also went to Ober Gatlinburg for a day and rode the Alpine Slide, saw a few bears, and ice skated.  The weather was perfect!  We love to travel!  Next year they are asking to go to D.C. or San Diego.  We'll see...

At last!  The Titanic Museum!  No pictures were allowed inside, but it was very cool!

Giant anchor.

No, he's not saluting, it's just very bright.

Proud of his new Titanic model and book, "888 1/2 Amazing Answers to questions about the Titanic."

Possibly Davis' favorite part- the pool table.

The jacuzzi was a huge hit with these two.

Wrap around porch.

Very steep hill!

Davis decided to check out the jacuzzi, but he wasn't much of a fan.

Rick enjoyed playing pool, too.

View from the Sky Tram headed to Ober Gatlinburg.

Looking for bears.

On our chair lift headed to the Alpine Slide.

Boys behind us.  Davis was REALLY nervous.  If you look closely, you can see Rick (wearing a yellow shirt) in the chair behind them.

Bears.

More cute bears.

Rick ice skating.

Aubrey ice skating (possibly her favorite part of the whole trip).

Field Day 2015

Last year, Aubrey missed her very first Field Day due to the stomach bug, so she was determined not to miss this year!  It poured down rain all day but our amazing P.E. teachers managed to pull off an indoor Field Day and it didn't disappoint!  She and Andrew loved it!  I love Field Day every year!  This year I handed out popsicles.  As one teacher put it, it was kind of nice to be indoors so no bees could attack the popsicles!

They obviously had practiced putting these together during P.E.

Aubrey crawling through.  The object was to build it and crawl through it without knocking it down, easier said than done!

Crazy game where they had to race with a ball between their backs.

Andrew's turn.

Popsicle time!

With Aubrey and her BFF, Mia.

My sweet girl!

Mystery Reader!

Andrew's teacher, Mrs. Pennington, was also Davis' teacher several years ago, so she asked if he would be interested in being a mystery reader for Andrew's class.  Of course he was thrilled (it might have had something to do with him getting out of school for a little bit)!  Andrew was completely surprised and adored having his big brother there!

Reading to Andrew's class.

So happy to see his big brother!

More hugs!

Love my boys!

Most amazing teacher!
