Meeting Baby Joshua

Great friends!

Holding a sweet baby (but happy to hand him back! :)).

Beautiful Mom, Emily!

So precious!

My two very best friends here are Erin and Emily.  Last night, Emily had her second baby, Joshua Daniel.  His big brother is 2 year old, Patrick.  Today Erin and I went to see Emily and Joshua, he's such a sweet baby!  I am thankful for my friends!

Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

Aubrey was just too adorable!

Where's Andrew?  We had to adjust his hat.

Not listening to Ms. Becky tell the story of the first Thanksgiving!

On Wednesday, our fabulous preschool held their annual Thanksgiving Feast.  Andrew was a pilgrim (although he wanted to be an Indian because "they were naked."  Thank goodness he was a pilgrim!) and Aubrey was an Indian.  They "ate" turkey, corn, green beans, corn bread, and banana pudding.  Even though they didn't eat much, they still enjoyed being with their friends!  Hope they eat more next week at the real feast!

Andrew's last soccer game of the season

He insisted on wearing his hat even though it was warm outside!

Doing what he does best during a soccer game, not paying attention!

Snack time!  Notice little sister enjoying hers, too!

Receiving his trophy from (the VERY patient) Coach Brian!

He loved it!

Last team cheer!

Group pic (with Davis who couldn't stand not being the center of attention).

Me and my soccer star!

Well, he didn't love it, but he sure was cute to watch!  Andrew loved soccer practice but he never quite got into the actual games.  We're pretty sure he's done.  Aubrey, on the other hand, is ready for her turn!  Andrew was excited over receiving his trophy today and he did have fun, which is the most important thing, after all!

An afternoon at the park with friends.

Watching the big boys.

How will they get back up?

Silly Avery!

Sweet girls!

Friends!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous today so we met our friend, the Bryan's, at a park for the afternoon.  Avery, the son, is 10, and he and Davis had a great time together!  The 2 girls, Karsen and Tatum, hung out with Andrew and Aubrey.  It was such a fun afternoon!

Hallowen Night 2011

Aubrey and Baby Annie.

Aubrey couldn't get enough!

Dinner with the Gore's.

Halloween Beignets!

Yum!

Entertaining Baby Annie...

...and more entertaining.

Some of the trick or treat gang!

Andrew loved ringing the doorbells!

Annie chose to ride.

Daddy with his sweet girl.

Mommy's turn!

Where Baby Annie is...

This Halloween was one of our favorites so far!  Fred, Kristie, and Baby Annie joined us for beignets then all three children had friends join us for trick or treating.  Andrew amazed us!  There is a house decorated all haunted down the street with a man dressed up in a scary costume.  Andrew couldn't wait to go there and Davis & his friends wanted nothing to do with it.  When we arrived at the house, the man took his scary mask off when he saw how little Andrew is.  Andrew was so disappointed so I asked the man to put the mask back on.  When we came back around to the house, the man came out with his arms outstretched and Andrew just giggled!  It was hilarious!  The man scared all kinds of big kids and when we passed him for the last time, he came over and high-fived Andrew!  It was great!  We love Halloween!!!

Little Gym Halloween Party 2011

All dressed up and ready to go!

Aubrey's favorite spot in the gym.

They worked up an appetite!

We love Ms. Sarah!!

"Fishing"

Pumpkin Bean Bag Toss (this is where she discovered her new favorite candy, Twizzlers.  Yuck!  She definitely didn't get that from me, maybe Nana?).

Andrew was too busy running around to play any of the games and later got REALLY upset when he discovered Aubrey got candy because she played the games.  Oops!

No, this isn't blurry.  They were standing in the fog machine.

It was that time again, the Little Gym's Halloween party.  Andrew & Aubrey were almost more excited about this than Halloween night!  Little Gym didn't disappoint!  There was a fog machine, a fishing game, pumpkin bean bag toss, free play on the equipment, and pizza, lemonade, and cookies!  What could be better?  Andrew decided to be a dragon (last year, he called the costume a dinosaur) and Aubrey was Strawberry Shortcake.  They were, of course, the cutest two there! :)

"Roasting" marshmallows.

We love our preschool!  This year instead of a Halloween costume parade (where most children cry because either their parents are there or their parents aren't there), Ms. Becky, the director, opted for a carnival instead.  There were several games including apple toss, lollipop pull, "fishing", and an obstacle course, to name a few.  There were also s'mores and the children got to roast marshmallows.  My children had a blast!  Their classes had made the cutest scarecrow vests, too!  So fun!
