Aubrey's Easter Parade

Lining up

and she's off!
Look at her go!

Having a ball!

Andrew, with his class, waiting for Aubrey.

Helping her get back on road.

Andrew running with Aubrey.

Too sweet!

Family pic!

Mommy's girl.

Daddy's girl.

Today was Aubrey's Easter Parade at her school. Since Little Miss Diva refuses to pedal her own bicycle (she prefers for someone to push her around on it), we sent her scooter. The class made Easter bonnets and she looked precious! She had a blast and kept saying, "This is fun, Mommy!" Andrew's class got to come and watch and Andrew was the best cheerleader, so excited for his little sister!

Field trip

The whole class.

Receiving instructions.
Waiting ever so patiently.

With best buddy, Owen.

Today Andrew's class took the best field trip ever... to a Mexican restaurant! I'm not sure who was more excited, the children or the parents chaperoning! Andrew's best buddy, Owen, rode with us and they were too funny talking the whole way. The children learned to order tacos and water in Spanish and Andrew did actually sample his. It was lots of fun and I was happy to be able to go with him.

Andrew's Bike-a-Thon

Daddy putting Andrew's helmet on.

All set!
Waiting for the whistle...

...and he's off!

There he goes...

...here he comes.

Having fun!

Proud Mommy and Daddy!

On Wednesday morning, Andrew's preschool class did a Bike-a-Thon to help raise money for children at St. Jude's hospital. Davis did this several years ago and it brought back such memories! Davis was flying by everyone and Andrew was ever cautious. Such different boys! The weather was perfect and Andrew was so proud of himself.

Davis' final belt graduation!

Here we go...

...and GO!

Wow!

When Davis finished this part, our whole section cheered for him! It was awesome!

Proud Daddy.

Proud Mommy!

It was a bittersweet night Friday night as we watched Davis perform at his final belt graduation before testing for his black belt soon. To give you a sense of how long he has been doing this, Aubrey was 6 weeks old when he started and she will be 3 in July. Not only did he do a great job during his regular part, but he rocked his performance with his new group, Weapons! Davis had only been to two classes before performing Friday night and one of those classes was the night before! Way to go, Davis! We are so proud of you for staying strong and seeing this to the finish!

Aubrey's 1st haircut

Here we go...

First strands cut off.

Sitting perfectly still.

Big smiles!

Mommy with her big girl!

Watching Angie braid her hair.

So patient!

Aubrey was such a patient little girl today during her 1st haircut! She loved every minute of it and was so excited! Angie said Aubrey was one of the best behaved children she's ever seen. She even let Angie braid her hair and curl it with the curling iron when she was done! She looks so big and so adorable with her new haircut!

Caron and Molly Cate come to visit.

Greeting Molly Cate.

Caron reading to Aubrey.

Rick with Molly Cate.

Checking out the Dora book.

Sweet cousins!

Molly Cate watching Davis.

Telling Andrew all about it.

Feeding sweet Molly Cate.

Aubrey supervising.

Andrew watching Molly Cate in her high chair.

Aubrey feeding Molly Cate puffs (this is right after Aubrey's meltdown).

Checking out the dinosaur at the zoo.

Kyle had a work thing in Spartanburg today so Caron and Molly Cate drove with them and then visited with us for the day. My kids were super excited, especially Andrew! They loved watching Molly Cate crawl around and kept bringing her books and babies. After lunch, we took them to the zoo for Molly Cate's first visit to the zoo! It was such a fun day and we can't wait to see them again soon!

Afternoon at the park

Little ones wading.

Aubrey "fishing" with her stick.

Davis way up high.

Striking a pose.

So proud of himself.

Having fun!

The weather was absolutely beautiful this afternoon so the kids and I headed to a park in Lexington. All three went wading in a little creek. Davis was so proud of himself, he learned how to blow a bubble with his bubble gum!
