First Friday Night Football Game!

Last night we went to our first high school football game to watch Davis play with the marching band.  So. Much. Fun!  Davis had a blast and we are over the moon proud of him!  Aubrey was little miss social, leaving us to go hang out with her friends, and Andrew watched the injured players with the doctors and counted down with the clock. It was a great night!

Ready to go!

Waiting for Davis

First day of school 2015

This summer flew by with New York, TN, Daytona Beach, marching band camp...  Now here it is, time for school to start back.  I have no more children on the red hallway in elementary school, and this is Davis' last year of middle school.  Don't blink!

Flashback

How did this happen, my babies are going into 2nd, 3rd, & 8th grade!  Here's a flashback all the way back to Davis in 3rd grade.  So sweet!

Marching band camp

This has been an exciting summer for Davis!  He joined the high school marching band, and yes, he's only going into 8th grade.  He's loving it!  Thankfully since he's percussion, they don't practice outside much.  He's playing the bells and the cymbals.  We are so proud of him!  They had a special performance outside for families on the last day of camp.  Now we're ready to bring on Friday Night Lights!!

Percussion.  Davis is about 3rd from the left, next to the guy in the green shirt.

Daytona Beach

This family loves a beach trip.  Last year while at St. Augustine, we visited Daytona Beach for a day and our kids fell in love, so that's where we ended up this year.  We had a blast!  From food trucks to pizza bigger than our table to visiting relatives to Minion popsicles, this has to be one of our best beach trips yet!

Beautiful sunset!

Toes in the sand.

Andrew discovered his love for shrimp.
